Cosy Outfit of the Day
Monday, December 22, 2014
Today's little OOTD was just a quickly put together outfit shot on my little Nikon bridge camera, so nothing fancy! But I wanted to show you guys something that I wear on a day to day basis - rather than something that is so meticulously put together.
I am known in my circle of friends as the girl who can find nice buys in Primark haha - a title I am most proud of! I blooming love myself a bit of Primark.
The jumper was £12.00 and is really lovely and cosy. I think the little cream fringe detail on the bottom makes it look much more expensive than it actually was! My jacket I have to admit is from Zara and its so cosy - a steal of a hand-me-down from my Mum!
The jeans I am wearing are also Primark for £10! I have had a darker pair of these for a long time now and they are so comfy and really nice and highwaisted which is exactly what I wanted so I had to purchase a lighter pair.
The hat I am wearing is from H&M, as worn in my previous outfit post!
I absolutely love this bag! It is a faux brown leather bag from Topshop (with dual use straps) and fits a surprising amount in it! I also got it for a bargain price on an app called Depop where sellers can sell on their barely worn items for cheaper. I have had some great finds on that app which will be in another post after Christmas!
My necklace is from Accessorize and from my lovely friend Fiona. Its a little outside my comfort zone (I normally like quite understated jewellery) but I'm enjoying adding this necklace to add a little something else to a normal outfit!
The make-up I'm wearing is: MaxFactor Lasting Performance Foundation in Fair 100, Kate Moss for Rimmel London Lipstick in 107, Seventeen HD Mascara, Collection 2000 Concealer and the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick. (Thought I'd slip in my perfume here which is Gucci by Gucci - isn't the bottle beaut?)
Finally, my little boots are my new Clark's buys. You can't beat Clarks for hardwearing good quality shoes and I think these boots are just beautiful. I had my last pair for two years wearing them pretty much every single day and I'm hoping these last just as long, if not longer!
What are your favourite things to wear in winter? How have you adapted your wardrobe?

Ah thank you! I'm not normally big on jewellery but was trying to find a way to incorporate it more into my outfit and Christmasify it up! Definitely do :)

DeleteI am totally a good primark buyer too! I love buying stuff, and then when people ask where it is from, shocking them with a good old primani purchase! I love your boots, they must be ideal for winter, I need to buy some proper shoes myself xx

Yes! I've found another! Haha yes I love that moment. Thank you, they're really brilliant in winter. Good soles too - I know they have a sale going in Clarks at the moment! (These ones are in the sale too and it hurts how much they've been reduced haha)
DeleteI read, love and reply every single one of your comments! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave one - Laura x
