Seventeen Falsifeye HD Mascara Review

Saturday, November 08, 2014

I kind of secretly like it when a product of mine runs low, because guess what that means? Make-up shopping! My mascara was on its way out so after seeing some glowing write-ups on this little beauty I popped it in my bag last week in Boots. I'm a huge fan of 'drug store' make-up and only own a few slightly higher end products such as the Bobbi Brown shimmer brick and MAC lipsticks. I definitely believe you can get just as great results from the cheaper stuff so why splash the cash? As you can tell I'm a proud bargain hunter. I also am a bit of a mascara hoe, I ain't loyal to nobody. My first ever mascara I think was Maybelline great lash and I've probably tried everything inbetween from Rimmel to Maxfactor to Benefit's Bad Gal Lash. Nothing has excited me or wowed me enough to stay true to by mascara. So after my latest squeeze (of the mascara kind) gave up the ghost I decided yet again to try something new. In comes Seventeen's Falsifeye HD mascara.

£6.99 from Boots
First of all, the packing. It is not bad at all but I think it slightly cheapens the product but that may just be my personal opinion! I always feel like less is more. The product itself however is (so far) brilliant! The brush is a lot different than I expected it to be and coats each and everyone of your lashes. I like quite a dramatic lash so I wanted something that lengthened and gave you a bit of body.

(P.s. I totally apologise for my tired eyes and skin - I've been ill for almost 2 weeks now so I'm looking pretty dire!) Here is the before and after shot! I have only used the mascara on my top lashes. You can instantly see the lift and the length that this mascara provides and this is without even curling my eyelashes!

For just under £7 I think this product is a total steal and I'm going to give it the longevity during a night out test soon and I will report back! But for now I'm incredibly impressed so far as it does everything that it says on the tin!

Have any of you tried this mascara? What are your favourite mascara products?
